NARS blush in "Oasis" came out a couple years ago. When I first saw it on the Sephora website, I fell in love; I knew I HAD to have this!
I was not dissapointed. This is a wonderful product. The color is hard to describe. It's not really a peach, or a pink. Nor is it a coral..but it definetly does have pink and peach tones..It is darker than "Orgasm". I really can't do the color justice, but I will say it's gorgeous..I would say this color is fit for most if not all skintones. For reference, I am an NW20 in MAC foundations. I have a lot of pink tones to my skin. Some products with pink in them can really make people with pink tones look TOO pink..but not "Oasis"..It gives me a very healthy flush.
"Oasis" also has some shimmer/glitter in it. Now, I personally happen to LOVE shimmer and glitter..For those that don't, maybe this isn't the product for you. NARS has some nice Matte blushes. However, I will say that the glitter isn't chunky or over-the-top..it's just enough to be noticeable and add something extra.
I like to wear "Oasis" with a smokey eye..but really it's great to pair with anything. In the summer, autumn and winter, this blush looks equally wonderful.
I really like NARS packaging..it is sleek and elegant, and has a handy mirror that's actually big enough to see what you're doing (unlike some other products with mirrors that are worthless), so it's really good to take with you in your purse or makeup bag.
I would reccomend this product to anyone; but I will say you will need to at least be able to tolerate shimmer and glitter. I hear everyone saying "Orgasm" is the NARS must-have blush...I would go one step further and say "Oasis" needs to be a must-have as well!!!
Pros:Beautiful color, nice, subtle glittery look, very versatile. Cons:If you DON'T like glitter, this probably isn't for you.
This is my favorite bronzer right now, and I have tried quite a few. It´s a nice natural bronze, with just the right amount of shimmer. IMO a totally matte bronzer can look a bit unrealistic sometimes, as a natural tan always has some sort of "glow" to it. NARS Laguna gives me the most realistic bronzed look.
I totally understand all the fuss about this bronzer now! BUT, even though this is the lighter version of this bronzer (the darker one is called Casino) this might not work for the very fair skinned. (for reference, I´m NC30)
Pros:good color payoff, just the right amount of shimmer Cons:price
I love NARS blushes in general, but I am really head over heels for this one! It is a perfect, buildable peachy pink (although the description on Sephora says it's peach. To me it has some pink qualities). It has a tiny bit of shimmer but not an obnoxious amount. And on my oily skin, it doesn't streak like some blushes. It's a little pricey but well worth the money.
Pros:Perfect, buildable color, Doesn't streak Cons:A bit pricey but worth it
-Muted raspberry pink with golden shimmer.
-The shop I bought this from had very bright lighting so I hadn't noticed how dark this blusher was. It actually seems to me to be darker version of "Orgasm". I'm quite pale so I can only just wear this, it's much more suited to deeper skin tones. I tend to only wear this for going out in the evening when my makeup is going to be a bit darker anyway. It's really pigments so I only need to apply a tiny amount. The packaging is quite nice but the rubberised finish will get dirty very easily.
-Lasts well on me, not much fading.
All I have heard is "must have" Nars Orgasm blush. Ok--find it and pay $28.00 and am not imprressed at all. A nice peachey, gold blush-you can find that anywhere. Goes on well, blends easily-but so does Cover Girl at a much better price. Not for me--sorry
i must say it looks quite intimidating in the pan, but once applied light-handed it looks very natural and pretty. it was little too warm for my cool toned skin so i personally prefer Desire over this one.
i swapped this away simply because i didnt quite know how to use it back then but now i sort of regret what i have done. would make a great blush for both warm/cool toned skins and it'd look quite natural.
i was hoping this to be a pinkier version of Orgasm as it looks in the pan, but once it's applied on my PPP pink undertoned skin it's a bit too orangey for my taste.
I don't get the hype but whatever. I have found that it almost matches my Cover Girl blush in Rose Silk. Only Orgasm has more gold shimmer to it, which isn't exactly a good thing cause it accentuates dark spots. It's a pretty color, but nothing special IMO.
I would probably buy it again, but IDK, maybe if I'm bored.
Pros:It's a cute color Cons:I have a CG blush that looks the same!
I have yet to try the blush that made this color such a big success but I doubt I'll buy it now after trying the lipgloss. This is my first and only lipgloss of their's that I have bought. I thought the color was really pretty in the container and when I tested it on my hand but the second I tried it on the pink completely disappeared and all I was left with was the gold specks on my lips and clear gloss. The only way I could bring the pink was by putting a light matte pink nude color blotted on my lips. Maybe my skin was a little too dark on my lips for the product to work. However I will NOT buy this product again as it really is not worth it too me. I'd be willing to try some of the other shades since the product itself is okay but the applicator also sucks. It can't grab the lipgloss correctly.
Pros:The product was okay Cons:Didn't show up on it's own and the applicator sucks
I have olive skin and have always swayed toward blushes in brown colors, but when the lady at sephora but NARS Orgasm blush on me - i fell in love. that is all i wear now.
